Bhavya, while researching this story on Retinoblastoma, I spoke with several parents and grandparents of children with RB. The one that tugged hardest at my heartstrings called after the story was published. He wanted his son's story to be published so that other parents can be made aware. I asked him, "How is your son?" He said, "He lost both eyes. But at least, we did not lose him." How sincerely he must have felt the need to share to have called me. It was touching but also left me feeling more than a little helpless. Benita
